As many of you remember when we showed at the Greyhound Track in St. John’s County we always had a “Derby Day” show when our date coincided with the running of the Kentucky Derby. This year it does so we’re celebrating with some fun Derby Day events. Our special things include Red Rose Division prizes, a Derby Day Hat Contest, home made Derby Day Pies and possibly a Silent Auction put on by the local 4H clubs. Of course, if everyone is still showing at Kentucky Derby post time, we will have a TV set up somewhere to watch all of the action as it is happening!
As always, please get your stall reservations in as soon possible. Stalls are always on a first-come basis, so don’t be late, or you won’t get a stall! Looking forward to seeing you in May!
Derby Day 2008 is planned to be as action-packed as ever!! Lots of exciting things will be happening so we’ve included the following list of events as a reminder so you won’t miss out on the fun!
